Recently, VinFast - An Phat Automotive Plastics Company has been set up with the capital of more than VND420 billion by VinFast and An Phat Group Holdings who each contributed 50%.
One of the prominent events in the plastic industry in Vietnam in November was the founding of VinFast - An Phat Automobile Plastic Company (VAPA), headquartered in VinFast, Cat Hai, Hai Phong. The main task of this business is to produce spare parts and accessories for cars and other motor vehicles.

An Phat Holdings, who has recently bought Hanoi Plastic from Cadivi Dong Nai, is now the largest shareholder of An Phat Plastic and Green Environment JSC (AAA), holding 46.62% of charter capital. An Phat Holdings was established in 03/2017 with the main business is investment consultancy. The legal representative of the company is Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong who used to work at Trader Calyon Corporate & Investment Bank, Paris, France; Deputy General Director of INB Investment, Vietnam; Deputy General Director of Ocean Group...
Regarding VinFast, its motorcycle production plant officially came into operation on 03 November. The plant has completed the assembly of 1.200 bikes to be operational by the beginning of 2019. VinFast's automobile and motorbike assembly plant will be conducted on a 335-hectare site at Dinh Vu Industrial Zone - Cat Hai (Hai Phong). In order to increase the localization rate, VinFast established a localization (about 30% of the complex area) to produce parts and accessories for cars and motorbikes. In addition to the self-investment items, VinFast introduced the form of calling investors into localization.
